Lossiemouth, as the name suggests, is situated at the mouth of the River Lossie on the shores of the beautiful Moray Firth. It boasts two long white sandy beaches (one at either end of the
town), two eighteen hole golf courses (one being a championship course), two yachting marinas and a fisheries museum. Close by is the RAF airbase (good for plane spotters) and Gordonstoun
School.
As well as being a very good location for a seaside, golfing or fishing holiday, Lossiemouth is also an ideal base for touring.
Elgin with its cathedral, numerous places of interest, shops and outstanding leisure centre is only five miles away. To the west and approx. one hours drive are Inverness and Loch Ness. To the
east and approx. one and a half hours driving time is the “granite” city of Aberdeen with numerous picturesque fishing villages along the coast. A short drive south takes you along the River Spey and
through distillery land towards Aviemore and The Cairngorms.
The fact that the Moray coast is reputed to have one of the mildest and driest climates in the country makes Beachview Holiday Flat a very attractive option for a holiday and many of our clients
come back time and again.
